Quick Reference Guide Caya Costa Community Association (CCCA) Architectural Control This summary does not include St. Petersburg, Pinellas County or Florida Codes The Architectural Control Committee (5 volunteers) maintains community standards according to the Community Documents and reviews and makes recommendations to the Board for all projects that affect the exteriors of the homes. Submit an ACC Application (available at the Gatehouse) for projects such as: Painting Doors Screened Cages Decks Windows Fences Pools or Spas Trash Enclosures Garage Doors Flags & Signs Paving Mailboxes Docks/Seawalls Driveways Walkways Sport/Child equipment Contractors: Hours -Daylight Savings- 7am to 6:30pm Off property by 7 pm. Regular Time - 7 am to 5:30 pm. Off property by 6 pm. No Sundays, No Holidays, No signs Antennas: are not allowed. Basketball Hoops: Allowed for Bay Homes (BH) Custom Homes (CH) 10 feet from street. Doors: Owners are responsible for Entrance Doors. Door changes must be approved. Driveways: Townhomes (TH) and BayHome (BH) driveway maintenance is the responsibility of CCCA. With approval, owners may widen driveways not to exceed two feet on the lawn side. BH driveways can be replaced with pavers at the owner's expense. CH driveways are the responsibility of owner. Flags and Signs: American, state, military, school, sports and seasonal flags are allowed. Political or controversial flags are not allowed. No yard or house signs allowed with exception of congratulatory signs for 5 or fewer days. Realtor signs allowed in windows and during scheduled showings of the home. Vendor (Construction and Services) signs not allowed. Garage Doors: Owners are responsible for Garage Doors. TH/BH Replacement doors must be uniform in style and color of building and without windows. Mailboxes: CCCA provides and maintains mailboxes for TH and BH. CH mailboxes are the responsibility of the owner but must be approved. Painting: CCCA paints (TH) and (BH) on an approximate 8 year cycle. CCCA Board approves color palette. Custom homes (CH) are painted by owners. For TH 3 of 4 owners are required to select color. Pools and Spas: Must be screened or enclosed by a fence. Sheds, Out Building, Tents are not allowed. Children's play structures must have CCCA Board approval. Solar Panels: Solar panels allowed. Submit ACC Form. TH and BH owners are responsible for removing and re-installing panels when roofs are replaced. Trash and recycle bins: Bins must be concealed from view except for pickup days. Enclosures must be approved. Windows: Owners are responsible for maintaining and replacing windows. An additional Window Approval form is required for TH and BH windows. Complete your application and return it to the Gatehouse or to Wise Property Management
